黃紅梅/Hung-Mei Huang

1942年出生於台灣,雲林。國立台灣藝專,師大美術系畢業;美研所結業。曾任台北市西畫女畫家畫會執行長,大地畫會秘書長,台灣國際水彩畫協會理事及中學美術教師多年。榮獲經濟部書畫展水彩金牌獎,台北市教師書畫展水彩第二名和資優教師大仁獎章。
曾個展及受邀參加當代名家畫展,台灣當代美術大展,第八屆亞細亞國際水彩畫展,台北市市立美術館開館展及多次國內外聯展。現為溫哥華華人藝術家協會理事,列治文中國書畫協會和台灣國際水彩協會會員。
1999年以畫家身份獲准移民加拿大。
2000年任台北市西畫女畫家畫會第三屆執行長期間為該會舉辦聯展於溫哥華UBC大學亞洲藝術中心,深獲好評。
2001年定居溫哥華,作品參展歷屆溫哥華華人藝術家協會及列治文中國書畫協會年展,曾任VCC中文學校才藝班水彩畫教師數年。

Born in Yun-Lin County, Taiwan, Hung-Mei Huang graduated from the Fine Arts Department of National Taiwan College of Arts. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from National Taiwan Normal University, where she also attended the Graduate School Program in Fine Arts. She has served as the Secretary General of The Good Earth Fine Arts Society for Research, Chief Executive Officer of the Women Artists Association of Taipei, and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Taiwan International Watercolor Association.
Besides a solo exhibition and many other shows, she also won the Gold Medal in Watercolor at the Taiwanese Department of Economics Arts Show, and the Second Place in the Watercolor Category of the Exhibition of Teachers of Calligraphy and Arts of Taipei. In 1999, she got admission to immigrate into Canada as an artist.
As CEO, she took charge of an important exhibition of the Women Artists Association of Taipei in the Asian Center in UBC University Vancouver in 2000.
In 2001, she settled down in Vancouver. Her works have been shown in many exhibitions year after year.
